Default WWE article profiling NXT's "top prospects"

Interesting read. Not much to it but it shows that they're serious about integrating the developmental farm into the company instead of pretending it doesn't exist most of the time. I'm guessing they want people to start watching NXT and talking about the stars on social media as to gauge who to call up.

A lot of the current NXT roster is really good. I'll just go through the list in the article and post my thoughts:

    - Kassius Ohno is the standout for me and has been for a while. One of the indy darlings I understand the hype for.
    - Kruger has carved an interesting persona for himself although he is not the most interesting to watch in the ring.
    - Don't care for Bo Dallas at all.
    - Paige is undeniably super-over (for NXT standards) but I don't see anything extra-special about her. She knows how to get the crowd going though, so good for her.
    - Richie Steamboat seems like an undercard-workhorse kinda wrestler.
    - Adrian Neville, aka PAC. He's only had one (aired) NXT match so far, and it was great. Absolutely insane finisher.
    - Haven't seen Anya yet.
    - The Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowans). I like these guys, Luke Harper especially. His debut match is awesome. I must admit, I don't like these guys as a tag team so much. I think their unorthodox wrestling style suits singles matches perfectly and, conversely, takes away from tag team matches.

Many thanks to Stefan for the banner!

Ohno's character just doesn't seem to be clicking for me on NXT.

I really like Kruger however and if I had to choose the next call up (it would have been The Ascension ) it would probably now be Kruger. Really interesting character that feels different from what they currently have, great look and decent in the ring.

Paige is on the main picture? I like this article already!

What happened to The Ascension? They kinda just disappeared.

For someone who doesn't watch NXT can someone tell me what PAC's "insane finisher" was?

A shooting star corkscrew press. Needs to be seen. Real referred to him as the "Jumping Geordie" - I hope that nickname doesn't stick.

WWE really needs to find a way for people to watch NXT other than Hulu Plus. I find myself just catching a few matches on youtube and I'd LOVE to be able to watch a whole show for once -_-

It's amazing how much PAC has "beefed up".

I was thinking the same. He's beefed up good since six years ago when he was performing at a local social club ten minutes from my house. I thought ROH/TNA would be his limit. It'll be great to see him in a WWE ring.

Connor O'Brian is still doing the gimmick, just as a singles wrestler though.
