Three strong picks already in Austin, Cena and The Rock.
Well the draft is today and if you didnt look the order is
1. Summer of Punk
8. Jack Nichols
Please look at the rules again before the draft thanks and talk away
Going pretty fast im excited
Yeah, so far so good, it's going to be fun.
Thanks JV for the artwork!!
Yes we just need Falcone to pick his hes had taken the longest so far
It would be cool if everyone was trying to draft the best team they possibly could.

Well, this came from out of nowhere
I think a WWE draft should have more than 8 participants considering how many wrestlers are available to pick, but what's done is done. I will be following this
Honestly, this thing came out of nowhere and really feels very exclusive--and not in the good way.
I believe this is just a WWE equivalent of the TNA Draft which has just started, which would explain the 8 participants. But 8 participants in a TNA draft is easily justifiable since the TNA past-and-present roster is nowhere near as large as WWE, and fewer people are active in the TNA Forum.
Yeah Zack Ryder went pretty high...
I too don't get the 8 person draft....would have probably made sense to do 16 people but 8 or 10 rosters rather have have 8 people with 16 wrestlers.
It just seemed to spring up since wwwyki just missed out on the TNA draft that Lony created. Evidently there's a PM response that wasn't waited for.

Not to mention an understanding of just how many tremendous talents WWE has had slip through their fingers over the years.
I don't know if AJ Styles is a top 15 type to be taken so high but I trust in Falcone to make something out of it....
Yeah, Hulk Hogan is one of those picks everyone pines for at the start. AJ Styles is a bit left-field, but if I wanted an obscure pick I would have saved it for later since nobody else is likely to get it in the first few rounds.
It's a bit disappointing that this has been limited to 8 people. Doesn't make much sense to me. This could have been a really fun big draft that involved a lot of people (because obvisouly the less people, the easier it will be).
But even so, I will be following. A couple of questions, are we assuming the older guys being picked are to be judged on their primes? Also is that AJ pick valid? It states in the sign up that they have to have been employed by WWE, but AJ was never under contract was he?

Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything, but this definitely should have had more than 8 people in it. There's 50 years of history here. You're going to have main eventers getting picked in the last round. This all started in Indy where we had 8 people because we couldn't find anymore. This should have been at least 16, if not more. I'm pretty bummed that this got thrown together so fast.
I have to agree. This would have been much better with 16 people in it.
