Default TNA Forum General Discussion Thread.....January 18, 2013 to....

Ok you all did well with a general discussion thread for the last 5 months, so you earned a nice, clean thread. Its for those random stories, thoughts you have, etc.

So do like you did before and have fun. All of you deserve to pat yourselves on the back--you made this possible even though I had my doubts. Thank you for making me eat my words. Now....on to posting!

What he does to stay in shape

"What I do I try different things ahead of time, I don't get stuck in one rut and I don't do the same workout for more than a month at a time. I'm very interested in keeping my endurance up, my stamina up, I keep my rest periods short and I try to do as much compound movement as I can. Not isolation, but a lot of compound exercises, stuff designed to work the whole the body, to get the full body workout. I do a lot of yoga, it keeps you flexible and you recover from injury quickly and I try to keep my heart rate up the entire time. I don't spend hours upon hours in the gym, I go in for about an hour at at time and that's how you get the best results."

His long term goals in the sport

"Well I'm just gonna have fun until I stop having fun, if it ever became more work than it was fun I said to myself I was gonna get out. If I can't wrestle at the same level, or at the top level that I want to wrestle I'm gonna get out. I feel like I'm wrestling the best matches of my career, I'm in the best shape of my life. I can wrestle 25 or 30 minute matches if I have to, so at this point in my career I'm nowhere close to hanging up the boots."

His match with AJ Styles & Samoa Joe at TNA Unbreakable 2005

"It's the one match that I'm complimented on the most and it's the best match that we've done in the Impact Zone. I've had some great matches, I've been fortunate to work with a lot of great wrestlers. That was such a special crowd that night, they were so psyched to see three guys that were TNA originals wrestle in the main event, in a style that they can appreciate in the X-Division and all the stars were aligned that night for that particular match.
Some highlights from a recent Christopher Daniels Interview.

I've always been a fan of Christopher Daniels and I really do believe the company has dropped the ball on him often. He should have been a TNA World Champion and I hope before he leaves, he gets his opportunity to run with the belt.

Why not have Daniels win the title, turn face, and bring in AJ as the top heel and feud them one last time. AJ would win (as always) in a Loser Leaves Town match but they would show mutual respect afterwards thus turning AJ face again.

Hopefully the UK sees a title change. Maybe the WHC gets vacated? (Wishful thinking on my part, but hey)

That's probably gonna be impossible since Jeffery was apparently pulled from the tour after 1 night... Why? They say injury... but something about the whole thing smells a bit fishy.

On the bright side at least they have "The Icon" Sting to look forward to now as he's reportedly replacing Jeff Hardy on the UK tour.

Does that mean they originally intended for Sting to just disappear off TV... 2 weeks after making his "big" return? Hmm?

And that's why we need 6-sides and Don West back.

I can't ever see six sides returning besides the special PPV they are doing this year. TNA10 is it?

There was some talk on a few sites that TNA had released Christian York , thank goodness it doesn't look like that's true! He's a future star of the company, Don't F*CK it Up TNA!

He has the look. But my god, one look at his sloppy ring-work and difficulty transitioning from one spot to another and you can see why he's rotted away on the indies for so long.

The problem with York is that he decided to go SSJ3 in a Division where only Cells excel...

Personally I'd say the so called rumor that TNA released Kid Kash is worse.

Though according to Kash's twitter it isn't true.

I don't know what people see in Christian York. His work is questionable like The Zig said. I'd go even further and say that he does not have a good look to be a major star.

As far as the 6 sided ring goes I agree they wont ever change it back, but if they do they lost a viewer.

All signs point to the rumors of York and Kash being released being false. Just because profiles are removed from the roster page... it doesn't necessarily mean that people were let go.

Ah, fuck... Now they're saying Kid Kash really is gone from TNA... Motherfucker! I don't know what to believe in anymore...

By the way, if Kash is really gone... does that mean Hogan was shooting on him during that X-debate segment a couple of weeks ago? He must have pissed somebody off...

He has a great look & he's been sick lately with the flu so that can explain some of his sloppiness ... ..

No way! It makes him look 10% less douchey... Granted, that still just leaves him at 90% doucheyness... but an improvement is still an improvement...

By the way, where are the rest of those 'thoughts'? I feel a bit cheated here...
