I know it was Christmas Eve, but that's not an excuse for it being THAT low. Lower than usual, of course, but 2.2? For god's sake.
And that's also with no Monday Night Football opposing it.
They're lucky they have Rock coming back in a week and a half. Next week's rating will suck too.

Christmas Eve is the perfect excuse for the low rating, especially since most people just DVR'd it anyway. I was having dinner with my family, instead of watching RAW.

I don't think it's an excuse for a 2.2. I was expecting in the 2.5 to 2.7 range. 2.2 is just too low, I don't care what the date is.

Wow, that's awful. I wonder what the factor is? Surely it can't be because it was Christmas Eve? I know I didn't watch it when it was on, but that's my normal. That's very surprising.

I always watch Raw when I'm free but this Monday I was having dinner with my family which I bet tons of people were doing.

I understand that people do other things on Christmas Eve, but the reason I find it so alarming is that it's been part of a pattern of Raw continuously breaking its own record for the lowest rating in 15 years over the past 3-4 months.

I was spending time with them, I got around to watching it about 9 o clock that night. I just figured that with the amount of kids who watch with their parents the number would have been higher.

Christmas Eve did a 2.5 in 2007. Two weeks earlier Raw did a 4.1.
It's a worrying trend on the whole, the three-hour ratings, but there's nothing in a Christmas Eve rating worth looking at. Never has been.

It was Christmas eve for christ sake. I surely didnt watch TV, because i had other things to do. Has Raw coincided with Christmas eve before and what was the number if they have? EDIT. Todd answered already about that.

I pretty much always enjoy Raw, but I don't think I've had as much fun watching wrestling as I did this week's edition in YEARS.
Though, admittedly, I DID DVR it, and watch it on Wednesday...

C'mon, the only reason I watched on Christmas Eve was because I was too sick to go to church. (Yeah, yeah, I go to church to support my dad even though I'm Jewish.)
Given the fact that this was filmed in advanced, actually fell on a holiday, and ratings for three-hour Raws are abysmal anyway ... I'm not surprised by this number one bit.

I guess I overreacted a bit in the first couple of posts, but I've never seen a number that outrageously low for Raw since I've been watching, no matter what the occasion was. That in itself is kind of worrying.
People having other things to do on Christmas Eve is not the problem, like I said, I expected a low rating. Just not that low.

Well it was that low, and probably because people had other shit to do. There wasn't any competition on tv that night either.
I hope my Roku comes in the mail in time for The Rocks return.
