There is no Hall of Fame without Randy Savage.
I believe it was when he subbed in for the anonymous Raw general manager later that year, and served as GM for the night.
Why does he need to make appearances? It'd be nice, but we're not in dire need of Austin to come stun someone and drink a beer.
All we have is right now....
Go hard or go home.
Spoiler
Wasn't it for the Tough Enough finals?
As much as that is run out, hes Austin so its gold.
Rock is just as annoying with his fast voice, he was awesome when he slowed his words in 98-99 but hes so fucking annoying with how fast he has talked on the mic since 2002.

I think his last episode ever was when he was the guest GM of RAW. He had a confrontation with Punk.
Many thanks to Stefan for the banner!
I know I've said this before, several times actually, but how are the WWE fans ever suppose to get the next Austin/Rock level superstar if the WWE keeps turning to Rock, Austin, HHH, etc everytime the ratings start to drop? I always refer back to the begining of the attitude era when WWE was getting killed in the ratings by WCW. WWE didn't try to turn to the stars of days past just for a quick ratings spike, they stayed the on path of creating new stars, and they did a great job at it by the way. It's time to let the Zigglers, Rhodes, etc take that next step instead of giving the camera time to a guy who won't be there in two months.
Wildfire Tommy Rich for WWE HOF 2013
I really don't understand the appeal of his appearances. Seriously, he just gives people shitty looking stunners and pours beer all over the place.
He always acts like he's drunk (he barely sips any of the beer), and despite retiring from a career-ending injury, he still walks around acting like he's the ultimate badass in the world.
I'm neither here nor there on Austin.
I'm fine without him. If he comes back, okey dokey. And I'm really not all that excited over the GREAT ALCOHOL FEUD between him and Punk.
*drops the mic*
*walks off the stage*
I find Austin genuinely hilarious. His shit with Santino was great, and his segment with Simon Dean was pure gold.
Several people have mentioned all he does when he returns is come to the ring, stun someone, drink beer and leave.
That's what he did his whole career.
To me it's no different than The Rock coming back and saying his old tired lines, everyone eats that up still.![]()
Not really. He cut far better promos back in the day. Stone Cold barely promos at all on his modern-day returns.
Stone Cold does exactly the same thing every return. Sure, Rock has his catchphrases, but he's always bringing some new content to the table.
Many thanks to Stefan for the banner!
Who did the Rock? Or Stone Cold?
To me it's no different, there's the catchphrases with a little bit of relevance. To me it's the same thing.Stone Cold does exactly the same thing every return. Sure, Rock has his catchphrases, but he's always bringing some new content to the table.
