Everyone loves to complain about the PG era, but need I remind you of the early to mid 90s?
Sure the PG products watered down, but 1995 was flat out cartoony!
that being said, what do you prefer, the PG era at its worst or wwf 1995?

I liked the era between 1984, and 1993. It was full of characters, and it was a lot more fun.
As for your question, I prefer watching this era of WWE over the New Generation era. CM Punk gave this era a bit of reality that is long overdue.
THE QUEST BEGINS AGAIN!!!
I would have to agree with Punk'd. the era today is so much more of your average guys. not those huge muscle bound 6'8" plus guys with no talent what so ever. even though u do have to keep a few on the roster. when watching ECW in its oringinal form. i had the please of watching some of the best talent the sport had to offer. Who wouldve thought guys like Eddie, Benoit, Mysterio and Punk too name a few. who would've thought that one day these guys would've been World or WWE Champion in the WWE. i understand that this era is not drawling in ways of rating as the attitude did but damn if i dont love it!!
New Generation was a million times better than today
Without a doubt the WWF/E was at it's best in the mid to late 80's.
Actually, I can give plenty of doubt.
I'm much happier with the WWE product (which has NEVER been my favorite wrestling product) now than I was in the mid 90s. It WAS a cartoon. And this was around the time of my childhood, where I'm supposed to have the most obsessive nostalgia about.
I do not want anything from that era back at all.

I'm not sure I have a "favourite" era from the WWE. I started watching during the attitude era and I was quite young and naive. The naivety allowed me to really enjoy wrestling, thinking it was real and all. As I got older and more educated on it all though it changed the way I enjoy it. I don't really have an issue with this era, there are some good characters and wrestlers who can showcase awesome mic skills and in-ring skills. Probably the storylines are a little lacking as well as a few other issues. Overall though i'd probably say I enjoyed the attitude era product slightly more than the John Cena era.
This era is by far my favourite, great mic workers, quality in-ring work and nothing super OTT like there has been in previous eras, the worst offences are the Eddie stuff and Katie Vick.
