There has been talk of having a major celebration for WWE Champion CM Punk on tonight's RAW as he celebrates 365 days with the strap. This isn't confirmed but there were rumblings over the weekend of debuting the new WWE Title design soon

Meh. I don't care for the spinning title. Makes it seem like more of a toy to play with than a championship IMO. I am for a more traditional style belt with some modern flavor to it.

I never liked the original winged eagle belt, I always thought it was a bit small. I like the World Title belt to be big, I wasn't a fan of the original Undisputed Title either for that reason.

I would a brand new belt tonight.

Champ said it best. You have to move on. The spinner got a lot of criticism, I felt a lot of it had to do with the pure sex that was the Undisputed title.

I agree that it should be a new title and not the return of an old design like they did with the I.C. Belt. I like the retro I.C. Belt but one of those is enough. However, I don't want a completely new title either. Something new but with a little more traditional look. Not a C.M. Punk belt. I want one that will look right on anyone who holds it.

If there is a new title, I don't want any Punk personalization on it. If it's personalized for Punk then more than likely it will be a belt that ultimately only Punk wears. Yes, I know the current belt was personalized for Cena, but Cena is the current WWE and vice-versa. Same doesn't go for Punk.

Lets face it this new belt could be amazing or shity. Either way, some people are going to have mixed opinions.

I have no issue with that belt because it was a means of signaling that WWE wanted to bring prestige back to the title. Of course, that hasn't really happened, but nonetheless I got what they were trying to achieve.

The WWE Championship is still the most important title in the company and kind of represents the era as a whole.
