Default NXT Spoilers Thread (Final 2012 Episodes)

Dark Match: Fandango b. Garrett Dylan with a pretty cool finisher. The crowd was digging Fandango.

Dark Match #2: Layla b. Alicia Fox with the Lay-Out.

    Episode 1; Airing December 12th
    * WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro b. Michael McGillicutty with the Neutralizer in a non-title match.

    * Corey Graves b. Yoshi Tatsu with an inverted Figure 4 Leg Lock.

    * Roman Reigns b. Gavin Reed in a squash match. After the match, Byron Saxton entered the ring and interviewed Reigns, who received good heat from the crowd.

    * Tyson Kidd b. Leo Kruger with the The Dungeon Lock. After the match, Kassius Ohno came out and attacked Kidd from behind. As Ohno was about to hit his KO elbow, William Regal pulled Kidd out of the ring to close the show.

    Episode 2; Airing December 19th
    * Paige b. Sasha Banks (formerly Mercedes KV) with the Paige Turner (formerly called Rampaige). Paige received one of the biggest reactions of the evening thus far.

    * Oliver Grey was in the ring awaiting his opponent when Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper came out on stage. Wyatt said it was time to meet the next son of the Wyatt family and out came Erick Rowan.

    * Erick Rowan b. Oliver Grey with his unnamed finisher.

    * NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes comes out to promote the NXT Championship match between challenger Jinder Mahal and defending champion Seth Rollins later tonight. He quickly turned his attention to the $5,000 bounty Vickie Guerrero placed on Big E Langston a few weeks back and calls her a bitch.

    * Camacho interrupts and says he is accepting the offer to take out Langston because he “needs money”. Langston then comes out and says next week Camacho can try to take him out. Big E even offers Camacho the chance to choose anyone he wants to team up to try and take him out.

Off-Air: It is announced that Bo Dallas will challenge World Heavyweight Champion Big Show for the title in the post-taping main event.

    * NXT Champion Seth Rollins b. Jinder Mahal (in 3MB gear) with Blackout to retain. After the match, Corey Graves came out and exchanged words with Rollins to close the show.

    Episode 3; Airing December 26th
    * The Usos b. Epico and Primo when Jey hit a splash on Primo. After the match, The Ascension appears on the titantron while The Usos celebrate their win, extending their rivalry.

    * Big E Langston b. Aiden English and Camacho when Langston hit the Big Ending on English when Camacho bailed. Big E was mega over with the crowd. After the match, Big E did the five count not once, but twice.

    * Kassius Ohno b. Percy Watson with the KO elbow in what Kyle calls a “sloppy match by both guys”.

    * WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross came out and introduced NXT Champion Seth Rollins for an interview. Rollins was asked about his defense over Jinder Mahal last week and what’s next for him. Corey Graves interrupted, saying that he will become the next champion. Graves ambushed Rollins and placed him in a submission hold. Referees had to come out to break it up to close the show.
Dark Match: World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. Bo Dallas for the title is in progress.

Cool, they might actually be starting a Rollins vs. Graves feud. Should be awesome. More legitimate than this Jinder Mahal B.S. feud.

How long until folks start calling Big E Langston as the "Black Ryback"? He is awesome though. Better in the ring and has more charisma than Ryback too. Just needs to shave his head.

Dark Match: Conor O’Brian b. Oliver Grey in a squash match. O’Brian had a new gimmick that mirrored The Ascension.

Dark Match #2: Wade Barrett b. Alex Riley with the Bullhammer.

    Episode 1; Airing January 2nd
    * Garrett Dylan vs. an unnamed worker ends in a no contest when The Shield came out and took both of them out. After the match, Ambrose got on the mic and cut a promo about injustice in NXT, which led to NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes coming out. Rhodes warned Ambrose and Reigns about interfering in the main event for the NXT Championship.

    * Bo Dallas b. Epico w/Primo with a Spear. After the match, the Colons assaulted Dallas until Michael McGillicutty ran down to make the save.

    * Tamina Snuka b. Sasha Banks with a superfly splash.

    * Kassius Ohno and Leo Kruger b. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Gabriel and Kidd dominated early on in the match.

    * Corey Graves b. NXT Champion Seth Rollins via disqualification when The Shield interfered, meaning Rollins retains the title. Rollins was decked out in full Shield apparel and even came out to a Shield titantron. After the match, the entire NXT locker room came out to stop The Shield, but they weren’t enough. Big E Langston appeared near the crowd and stared down The Shield to close the show.

    Episode 2; Airing January 9th
    * The show opened in NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes’ office where The Shield was meeting him. Rhodes informed Seth Rollins that he will defend the NXT Championship tonight, this time against Big E Langston (who was also in Rhodes’ office) and it will be a No Disqualifications match. Rhodes wished Langston good luck tonight.

    * Percy Watson and Yoshi Tatsu were waiting in the ring when Bray Wyatt came out on stage. Wyatt cut a promo about the audience and the Wyatt family. Wyatt introduced Luke Harper and Rowan as he sat in a rocking chair on the stage.

    * The Wyatt Family b. Percy Watson and Yoshi Tatsu.

    * Epico and Primo b. Bo Dallas and Michael McGillicutty when Primo hit the backstabber on McGillicutty.

    * Big E Langston b. NXT Champion Seth Rollins in a No Disqualifications match to become the new champion with the Big Ending. The Shield attempted to interfere, but the NXT locker room ran down and chased off Ambrose and Reigns. After the match, the NXT roster celebrated with Langston in the ring. Langston also celebrated with fans before going up on stage where NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes and WWE executive Triple H congratulated him.

    Episode 3; Airing January 16th

    * The show opens with Kevin Nash making his way to the ring. Nash announces that he is the guest commissioner for the show. He announces Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. Damien Sandow and WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro for later. Heath Slater interrupts and Nash proceeds to deliver a jackknife powerbomb.

    * Adrian Neville (aka PAC) b. Sakamoto with a corkscrew dive from the top rope.

    * Trent Barreta b. Leo Kruger via disqualification due to interference from Kassius Ohno. Originally, Kruger won because the referee didn’t see Ohno interfere, but after William Regal came down to ringside to save Trent from further assault, the referee changed his mind.

    * NXT Champion Big E Langston makes his way to the ring and tells the crowd that we are in the era of five. Langston gets the crowd to start chanting “five” over and over until Camacho interrupts, setting up a match between the two.

    * NXT Champion Big E Langston b. Camacho in a non-title match with the Big Ending. After the match, Big E does the Big Ending a few more times per request of the crowd.

Off-Air: It is announced that WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will appear at the next set of tapings scheduled to take place on January 10th.

    * Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd b. Damien Sandow and WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro with a cool combo finisher.

Woo!!! Big E. is awesome. He's over is a BIG way on NXT. I'm hoping for a Big E. vs. Kassius feud.

Fuck, Nash...oh well - looks like a boring episode so I might miss that one. But first two episodes look great.

    Ooh, Trent got a win!!!

Have any idea when Bray Wyatt could get a call up? Seems like that could be a really interesting gimmick to watch every Monday night.

Rumor was that he was the next call-up next year. Maybe after WrestleMania. He was injured a while back and is still recovering. Once he's cleared to go and they have a storyline ready for him, I bet we'll see him and the Wyatt Family.

I'm glad they put the title on Big E. He's really over and I think he could be the next great big man in WWE.

They seem to be high on Graves....a DQ win over Rollins and he's been working house shows with the main roster.

Is that PAC's first match in NXT? Might have to give it a watch.

I'm just afraid with Big E, that fans are going to compare him with Ryback when he makes it to the main roster and start calling him Ryblack.

But otherwise he is awesome. Much better than Skip.
