Yeah, he was a jerk to his co-workers, but he deserves his place as he carried the company to the best of his ability.

I used to bash Warrior unmercifully over the years, but I have new found respect for the guy after finally meeting him. He talked to me for like 5 to 10 minutes giving me an inspirational speech then even hugged me before I left his table. Fucking awesome!

I don't think the WWE should honor him with the Hall of Fame, but really because of the explosive comments that he makes from time to time. Especially the hate-filled, bigot ones. If he is put into the Hall of Fame, then a week later bashes gays, that would look pretty bad for the company.

He doesn't bode well in the WWE's current anti-bullying era. In terms of carrying the company, well maybe he did, but to the best of his ability? I don't think so.

He deserves a spot...he was a huge part of the WWE in the 80s and early 90s second only to Hulk Hogan.

Warrior was the reason I started watching wrestling, his character was amazing and literally life changing for me.

Was he the best ever, no not even close but he certainly was a great attraction in his day.

I am able to distinguish the character from the person. I can do it with Benoit(Though the person Benoit is an absolute scumbag), I can do it with Roman Polanski and his films and I can do it here. There's a big difference between the person "Warrior" and the character Warrior.....WWE is honoring and respecting the character more so than the person himself. They just need to make sure "Warrior" does not say anything nuts up at a press conference or when he speaks.

The Ultimate Warrior is absolutely deserving. If guys like Edge and Mick Foley are going to make it(Edge's case he did), then The Ultimate Warrior should absolutely be in. Sheiky Baby bashes tons of people/races all the time and he's a HOFer and rightly so since he kicks friggin' ass. Jesse Ventura and his conspiracy theories is in the HOF, I see no problem with The Ultimate Warrior being inducted in.

I'd love to see the WWE pull a mega swerve and have Sheiky Baby present The Ultimate Warrior. It'd never happen but my god

Considering so many curtain-jerkers are already inducted, it makes no sense to not have Warrior in it at this point (Savage's deliberate absence looks petty enough). But if "Well, he's said stupid things" is a reason that people don't want him there, then there probably wouldn't be too many people in the Hall of Fame.

I think there are two very distinct personalities we're discussing here. Jim Helwig is actually a pretty nice guy. Friendly, helpful, etc. But then there's his other personality, Ultimate Warrior. Warrior is always looking out for number one, and Warrior thinks he is number one. The problem is WWE has always had to deal with Warrior, not Helwig. And I can only imagine what Warrior is asking for in terms of money, headlining, etc just to be honored with a WWE HOF induction. Personally, I just don't think the hassle is worth the return for WWE.

Savage should go in before Warrior in my opinion. Warrior will get his chance, eventually the WWE is going to start running out of big names to 'main event' the HOF.

I also wonder if a certain Half man/half Zombie who only wrestles once year is on his way to the HOF any time soon.

Warrior the character deserves to be inducted no doubt about it, unfortunately it's a big risk in terms of pr if he goes off on one of his trademark rants so I can't see it anytime soon.
