Cody Rhodes possibly injured at Main Event taping

The Smackdown Spoilers are up and apparently Cody Rhodes was injured during his match at Main Event. He was thus unable to make the Smackdown taping, with the rest of his team. No report yet on the severity of the injury.

If it's serious, it'll be the end of the Rhodes Scholors, and perhaps Sandow's career will be indefinitely stalled.

Sandow's career won't be stalled but it probably will be the end of Rhodes Scholars. As for Survivor Series, if it's serious, I'd say Otunga takes his place. Or they use this oppurtunity to bring Swagger or Henry back. Or debut Curtis.

Yeah bad timing for WWE, Miz would have been ideal to be just a "heel"(I still think he turns on Team Foley and costs them) for Sunday. Shame Cesaro is tied to a meaningless match vs R-Truth too.

Apparently it's a shoulder injury, which could be very good or very bad depending. Shoulder injuries are fairly common in wrestling, and most wrestlers are able to work through them....but if it's something serious, it's likely to sideline him for at least two months.

According to our correspondents at Tuesday's WWE Main Event tapings, Cody Rhodes appeared to have taken a hard fall when Kane flipped him over and instead of landing on his back, Rhodes landed on his shoulder. After the spot, Rhodes was then knocked off the apron and didn’t sell as medical staff came out to assist.

Rhodes was visibly shaken as he talked with medical staff before being helped to the back.

It really is just my luck that my favorite wrestler gets injured by my least favorite wrestler.

The injury could have been a lot worse. If he has to miss a a couple months atleast he should be back in time for Wrestlemania.

Glad to see you're being rational about this though, SM. Kane's not known for being a dangerous worker so it could have just been one of those random accidents that happens.

As long as I get to see him in Mania, maybe dodging a loss from team Foley isn't the worst thing. With hope, it's just a week or two miss, if not needing to miss any weeks at all.

It's a strained shoulder apparently, which is absolutely fine. He took a concussion with it though, so he may not be fit for Survivor Series.

I'm just glad he's okay.
