I just dout see Austin comming back.
So after Punk it seems we could be seeing Austin vs Cena, would anybody be up for that happening? I would be interested to see what would happen if the two got into the ring, the king of the PG-13 era vs the king of the Attitude era"Stone Cold" Steve Austin appeared on Busted Open with Dave Lagreca and Doug Mortman. The program airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on Sirius 92 and XM 208 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., visit www.facebook.com/bustedopen for more information. Highlights from the interview are as follows:
Could he ever be medically cleared to wrestle again?: "Itís not even about being cleared. Iím 100 percent fine. Once I had my fusion done in 2000 and I went into the recovery phase and then got back in the ring, everything was fine and dandy. I was just running too hard towards the end and had a few issues. It was time to get out. Passing the physical isnít the issue."
Is CM Punk the only guy he would come back for to wrestle?: "I think John Cena would be a guy as well. I really like John. He is the face of that company right now and he has done a hell of a job and I got a lot of respect for him. You look at a guy like Triple H, that was one of my favorite guys to work in the ring with. Such a ring general and such a pro. Just an easy night at the office. Undertaker is kind of beat to shreds, kind of like me. Those would be a few guys off the top of my head. Would it just be CM Punk? No. Is CM Punk at the top of the list? Yes!"

Thanks To Hayze
I honestly start to believe that the WWE are trolling us with this 'dream matches'. They did the same thing with trolling us with a chance for a Rock/HBK feud back in 1999-2000. But it never happened.
Punk/Austen is definitely going to happen...
They are teasing it from now, it's going to happen at WM30...
It's just promotion for the video game, don't look too much into it. Austin is full of shit. His body is too fucked up to wrestle anymore, his act is stale and old and he's never going to come back.

No it wasn't just a promotion, that stare down they had was more than just a video game promotion...
Plus ..you can't ignore the fact that Punk mentioned Steve in every possible chance he had, his promos last month were the clear prove....
I'd be extremely surprised if Austin ever wrestled again. I can't see it happening.
Stone Trolled Steve Austin.
I still have a glimmer of hope that Austin will wrestle again. I won't be terribly upset if he doesn't though.
That said, I would have loved Austin in his prime vs. Undertaker (as the Deadman) in his prime at WrestleMania. God, that would have been awesome.
It kinda makes sense that it never happened during the Attitude Era.
WrestleMania 13 was too soon for Austin/'Taker or Rock/'Taker.
WrestleMania 14 'Taker was preoccupied with Kane and rightfully so, whereas Austin was also preoccupied with starting the Austin Era against HBK
WrestleMania 15 has a solid argument for it, but at the same time, Rock/Austin, even though, was still a money match IMO.
WrestleMania 16 they both missed.
WrestleMania 17 had Rock/Austin again, but for reasons even more obvious than 15.
Outside the Attitude Era, probably the only other time Austin/'Taker at least could have happened was 18. I wouldn't have been mad about that even though Flair/'Taker was terrific.
