Default WWE Interested In El Generico?

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has released an El Generico DVD titled "The Many Adventures Of..." featuring a ton of his matches with the company at this link. There's been some WWE interest in Generico in recent weeks.

WWE officials have shown interest in recent weeks in acquiring El Generico, a Canadian independent wrestler who uses the gimmick of a luchador from Mexico.

Generico, if booked right, is literally a licence to print money.

One half of two skinny black guys in the WWE would be awesome , but while I do love Generico, it is not the right half.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Yeah, so when the WWE takes his mask off, gives him a French Canadian gimmick and changes his name to Rami-something and sticks him on NXT for a year...

I'm not saying I don't want to see it happen, I'm just saying I don't have enough faith in the company to let him do what he does best and already makes him amazing to watch. Think of how many times the WWE tried to push down/change their current Champ. What kind of a chance does Generico have?

I can be very positive about this. He will get a gimmick change, and El Generico not playing El Generico isn't the same...

Not to forget that he will never be able to do the BRAINBUSTAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! in the WWE.

He could do a regular Brainbuster. Or maybe the OLE kick. There are options.

Never say never. I mean Rollins still does the Phoenix Splash and Gods Last Gift, and they're really easy to fuck up and hurt someone.

Brainbustaaaaaaah is something a number of guys in the company would be willing to take.

Go with his first idea for a ring name: Player Uno.

He'd be great for Saturday Morning Slam and even in serious stuff, IF they're willing to let him keep his schtick and be himself.

As for the Brainbustaaaaaah...Didn't we say CM Punk wouldn't be the same without the Pepsi Plunge?

The El Generico gimmick will never be in WWE, so once I get past that, Generico the worker is awesome, and I'd love to see him in WWE under whatever name and gimmick they choose to give him.
