Let's say he retires. Do you think there should be a character in the WWE, that The Undertaker will teach his 'dark ways', and become his apprentice? Do you think that could be a good idea, or a bad idea?

I've often thought about this, and my final verdict is a no. We got both him and Kane running these similar gimmicks consistently since 91' and 97' respectively. I dont see any reason for them to give the gimmick to someone else, who will basically live in the shadow of The Undertaker. And probably fail at that.
I'm all for making stars, but let the gimmick die when he retires.
No.
It takes a special kind of talent to make the Deadman gimmick work (because when you actually think about it, it is a ridiculous gimmick), and I can't see anyone but Taker being able to pull it off.

No.
Would the gimmick work? like Miss HHH said, it's a ridiculous gimmick. Sure it worked well in 1991 but not sure the audience would take to it now. Especially with how popular The Undertaker worse, people would always be comparing and i don't believe anyone could live up to the standard already been set.
