Bring back the Old School Raw again.
And Raw Roulette.
And occasionally advertise a big match on RAW weeks in advance, like they did with Cena/Federline.
according to wrestlinginc.com
According to a source, USA Network officials have indicated that they would like WWE to consider special themed RAWs. As in the past, the network would promote these occasional themed RAWs more heavily, likely during the ratings sweeps period.
The themed episodes would not be a weekly thing, but just a gimmick to push the show harder during key periods as ratings concerns continue. Vince McMahon is said to be on board with this idea.
One thing that could be a thing of the past are theme-based pay-per-views. There has been lots of talk of more pay-per-view changes for 2013, and Vince feels that the themed-based shows have had "a zero sum gain." Vince is hearing all ideas right now, although nothing has caught his eye.
And have Christmas episodes in the middle of November. For NO reason.
Championship Mondays and Free Fight Night.
How about WWE RAW celebrity additon? Basically get every selebrity talking about WWE On twitter and giving tout videos after each match also maybe host live WWE 13 matches with celebs live. Celebs can also be guest announcers/referees etc.
Didn't ECW only have one hour of programming? But yeah ECW was great for stuff like that.
But seriously, maybe more people would tune into RAW if they, rather than announcing it on WWE.com the night of the match, spent 2 weeks hyping up, say, Cody Rhodes vs Kofi Kingston for the IC Title. It worked in getting people to check out Main Event for Kofi/Miz. I remember it worked for that awesome Kofi/MVP match. It's just common sense.
I wish they would do a show basically following the going ons behind the scenes of RAW.
Like just follow Vince for 3 hours with a hidden camera
They'll probably do a 'Thank You Rocky' night when Rock wins the title
I'd like an Attitude Era Themed Raw.
I always liked the old Raw theme song more than the rest.
"ROH matches are too spotty and their storylines are too simple" - some guy in 2006 who now watches NXT on the regular.
"ROH guys don't look like real wrestlers and have no talent" - some guy in 2007 whose favourite wrestlers are now Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins.
"ROH production is terrible" - some guy in 2013 who enjoyed watching on the first two wrestlemanias and some old MSG shows once he got the network.
How about a #RAWActiveNight? A night where fans can go to Twitter to decide who and what matches happen that night.
LEARN TO LOVE IT!!! It's the best thing going today.
Thanks Lony, and AP 2K15.
Last thing they need is the Fans making matches
- King of the Ring
- Great American Bash
- Old School RAW
- RAW is Attitude
- RAW is WAR Games
- RAW Rumble
- Monday Nitro
- RAW Roulette
- Hall of Famer/Legend Appreciation Night
- Anniversary Episodes
- Holiday Episodes (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc)
I seriously like an idea of Monday Nitro as a yearly theme for some reason
They'd just bring in WCW names to get squashed. By Vince.
My top 5 ideas....
- King of the Ring (one night 8-man tournament with 8 qualifying matches occuring the previous week (3 on Raw, 3 on Smackdown, 1 on Main Event, 1 on NXT in an NXT only qualifying battle royal).
- Cyber Monday (like the old PPV)
- WWE All-Star Night (all titles on the line, only champions in the past year are eligible)
- Bragging Rights (like the old PPV, all Raw vs Smackdown matches, winning brand gets some kind of reward)
- Caged (all matches occur in a steel cage)
THIS AWWWWWWESOME BANNER MADE BY SPIKE
I'M BACK BAYBAY!!!
Maybe they should have a KOTR Raw with 7 matches n the winner gets a shot at the title on the next PPV.
We're actually due for a KotR this year.
Had one in 2006, 2008, 2010. Need one in 2012. For the cycle to continue.
I'm all for seeing the return of Raw Roulette and the King of the Ring tournament.
