    Default Punk DVD...

i watched CM Punk's Best in the World DVD 2 days ago, and I gotta say it's the best WWE DVD I've ever seen, Just awesome, Spectacular, I just don't get how anyone would boo Punk after seeing this DVD...

But there are some things that I really found kinda strange about the DVD (and which also made it even better).

Firstly, I was really surprised that they clearly criticized the way WWE handled Punk talent, as we all know WWE doesn't have the good habit of admitting their own mistakes.

But in this DVD, it was really like they were admitting that were wrong and that they did hold Punk back, especially when Heymen said something like "they didn't know what they have , they just signed the guy that had some buzz".

The second thing that I found really strange, is them clearly mentioning Kayfabe and scripts on multiple occasions on the DVD...

His heel turn in 2009, losing the title to taker in 2009 and his his historic promo on RAW were all mentioned to be scripted...

Did anyone else watch the DVD?
    Any thoughts?

I watched it and it was probably the best one I have ever seen. I don't boo Punk anyway. He's by far the best thing in wrestling today. If Punk wasn't around, I wouldn't bother with Raw at all. I almost never watched 2006-2008, just youtube and mostly ppvs and even then Punk was one of the few I cared for. When he turned heel and got awesome in 2009, I started watching more. If he retires and the show isn't any better, probably will duck out again until someone else great comes along. I wouldn't be missing that much with Punk gone.

They acknowledge things being scripted all the time in these DVDs, that's nothing new.

Absolutely loved it! One of my few WWE DVD purchases (along with the 3 disc 15th Anniversary of Raw & The Four Horsemen DVD) and it was worth every penny.

I think they are aware that a good chunk of the people purchasing and watching these DVDs are well aware that everything is scripted, and don't want to disrespect their viewers who paid good money to get some behind the scenes/inside info/background on things that have happened in the past.

Umm, Michael Hayes and Triple H admitted to no wrongs. Nor did anybody from management. I don't know what DVD you watched.

They allowed Punk , Heymen, and many others to clearly criticize them and the way they handled his booking for his entire career in the WWE.

That's more than enough for me tbh...

Maybe it wasn't Triple H or Hayes admitting it, but allowing others to mention their true feelings about what happened and criticizing them for it is big enough deal imo.

Michael Hayes especially came off like a arrogant prick who will never admit to anything creative does to be wrong. It gave me more insight as to why the current product is so shitty
