Who would your tag team be?

Majority of people believe that "actual teams" are better as tag teams, but tend to forget that some of the most successful teams were two singles superstars thrown together. For example, Undertaker and Kane. both were main event guys, but a successful tag team. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, majn eventers in the WWF, successful tag team in WCW. So, with the recent formation of tag teams, which main eventers/Upper mid carders would you put together and why? And do you prefer actual tag teams like Harlem Heat, Dudley Boys, The Steiner Brothers, 3MW etc over teams like The BOD, Billy and Chuck, Beer Money, The New Age Outlaws, etc.

If I had to choose, I'd put CM Punk and Lesnar together and let Heyman manage both of them.

I would love to see Bryan and Punk team up. Both came up through the indys both have amazing wrestling skills.

As for the question I have always liked long term tag teams, LOD are probably my personal favorites as they were a team where ever they went.

Your definition of actual tag teams is the same as your definition of guys being thrown together. I'd argue Undertaker and Kane were closer to an actual tag team than Billy and Chuck. I get your point though, share a gimmick and wear similar clothes? If that's the case then I agree that this should be the norm for tagteams.

I once thought of Cena/Punk being forced to tag, or maybe just like a lethal lottery thing. A reluctant tag team but they were so fuckin' good hardly no team could beat them.

Count me in for a Finlay/Regal team. I think Drew McIntyre/Sheamus would be a nice pairing. Both are badass bruising brawler types. Hell, throw Barrett in that mix too. I know it sounds like I'm lumping all the UK wrestlers together, but they all have that stiff wrestling style in common which would be great to see in a tag team.

I would be fine with this, as long as they NEVER acknowledge the dull and overused reason they got paired together.


Give them some basic and silly gimmick like 3MB and they will be ok to go, but no 2nd/3rd Generation bullshit.
