I've watched Impact for the second time in a row and I am enjoying the show, but one thing really irked me and that was what during Samoa Joe's match. Samoa Joe put his opponent in what looked like an STF, Mike Tenay called it the "STFU." Since when did Samoa Joe start using the STFU? The STFU was created by Cena in a submissions only match against Kurt Angle back in 2007.
Granted Cena has stopped using the STFU and has instead been using the regular STF, what right does Samoa Joe have in stealing his move? There might come a time where Cena might want to start using the move again.

Cena never gets his deserved props from the smarks. Samoa Joe could have just called it the STF, but he's clearly either stealing from or trying to salute Cena. The greatest compliment anyone can make is imitation.

Cena does a shit STF, he barely locks them in the move at all. The takedown is really good but his arms are barely touching his opponent most times. There have been exceptions, like the Orton match and Umaga, but most times it's the shittiest STF I've ever seen.

That could be. I've only been watching TNA for 2 weeks and just want to know if the STFU is truly part of Joe's arsenal.

Cena used to put his arms around the neck of his opponents, using strength to squeeze the opponents necks. Later, started arching his back, while trying to pull their necks back. Now he just lays his arms around the head in a lock just for them not to be able to move their heads around. It's gotten less fierce by the years. His greatest STFU, not counting using any sort of modified weapons, was against Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 23 at the ending of the match.

Cena's STFs on The Rock at WM 28 looked weak. He really needs to bring the STFU back.

Great selling by HBK, but it still doesnt look locked in. Cenas fists are on the mat and there is obvious space between his arms and their head. Not nitpicking but he should just pull their head back like Benoit and Bryan do.
