I'll preceed by saying I've never been the biggest fan of the Kane character, especially in the past several years. However, having said that, Kane may very well be the most underrated/underapreciated wrestler on the WWE roster, and here's why. First, he has years of WWE experience to guide the newer wrestlers in the lockerroom. His character has been evolved in such a way right now that he can on any night become a legitmate contender for a world title, but at the same time he can make a legitimate opponent for a title holder or potential title holder. We've seen recently that Kane can be funny and entertaining. And here's my thing for his wrestling/wrestling character; he's not the greatest wrestler, not the greatest brawler, not the greatest on the mic, but he is way above average in all those areas. But most importantly, he's one of only a few guys in the roster that you never hear anything bad about behind the scenes. I've never heard any stories of him complaining about his place in WWE no matter what he was doing in a storyline, and over the years there have been so many other wrestlers that have mentioned him as one of the best guys to work with in the lockerroom, such as Edge, Cena, HHH, HBK, and many others have said what a really nice guy he is. My basic point is Kane is a true leader in the WWE behind the curtain, and people like myself that understand there's a lot more to the show than what we see in front of the camera can appreciate what Kane, or maybe I should actually say Glen Jacobs, brings to the WWE.
