I agree with this. Cole did his best to stay out there and even though there was no commentary just his presence alone and his updates were enough for me.

It's a toss-up between Lawler and Cole for me due to the unfortunate situation, but if I have to choose one ... it has to go to The King.

I thought Cena and Punk did an amazing job in light of Lawler's situation, too, though.

I get the respect vote for Jerry Lawler, but I can't not say it was Michael Cole. He has a fan for life in me with how he handled the entire situation. Pure class.

Have to vote for Jerry, but certainly Cole was incredible, I never really liked the guy, but he gained a TON, and I mean a TON, of respect from me tonight, the guy is pure class and all heart, you could feel the anguish right along with him. I've never seen anything like it, and hopefully none of us ever has to again, but Cole definitely would get my vote for the 'man of the year' award, as insane as that would've sounded to me (and probably everybody else) a day ago. Get well soon Jerry, and much respect to Michael Cole, I hope to see them both back on RAW one day.

Tragic events aside , and I commend Cole for the amazing job he did and pray Lawler ends up okay I'm going to vote on the entertainment side of the show.

And that was completely Punks to win for me until the last segment where I thought Cena had an exceptional promo , in the end though Punk barely edges him out as he was out there all night and completely spot on. My vote goes for CM Punk.
