is it honestly ok for the wwe to make a deal with tna and then punish the guy for being part of that deal

Are you familiar with Christian's career in the WWE?
Remember when I had the MOST(~!) posts on the site? I'm third now. And the next few down aren't too far below me. #Lastyearsmodel
It's Christian. He's the original WWE Management Punching Bag.

considering he was the ic champ not to long ago would you like to rephrase that i dont think he has done anything wrong
Should be happy he's even a former World Champion in the WWE. Not once but twice. Never thought that would ever happen.

Makes sense, but this is probably written just to have another story on the site. One of the major questions we've been asked in the last several weeks has to do with the disappearance of former WWE World champion Christian.
One of the stories that were making the rounds (incorrectly attributed to PWInsider, according to a few readers) is that WWE pulled Christian from TV as he's expected to appear at the TNA Hall of Fame ceremony next month in Phoenix, Arizona as part of an agreement WWE and TNA made to allow Ric Flair to appear at Wrestlemania earlier this year. However, we are told that isn't why Christian is off the road.
According to numerous sources, Christian actually asked for time off the road as there were no major storylines planned for him and the time off would give him a chance to rest his ankle, which is still giving him some issues after injuring it last year. WWE granted the request.
There is no word when he is slated to return, although at one point he was booked for the Canadian TV loop next Monday and Tuesday.

A wrestler asking for time off due to recurring injuries?
Newz.
It's an obvious conspiracy against Christian because of reasons that may or may not be related to something WWE and TNA agreed to.

its because of him having to go through that with tna
When has that ever stopped them in the past? The reason I asked if you were familiar with Captain Charisma's body of work is well... this isn't something new. You can't really blame the TNA thing because it's been the story of his career. We'll always have WWECW though...

It's not because of the TNA thing.
They just don't see Christian as a top guy. They see him as a rich man's Matt Hardy. Quite frankly, I'm thrilled he's gotten as much as he has.
And seriously, he's been beat to shit over the last year. I'm not surprised he needs some time off. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, IMO. Although, it's funny that most Christian returns are hilariously underwhelming, with the exception of the Elimination Chamber return.
"I like cake."
Just read a conflicting report on Bleacher Report that indeed he is being kept off of tv because of his TNA appearance; and when he returns, he is expected to start a program with Antonio Cesaro.

I didn't realise he was gone, neither did I notice Otunga was gone until this past week![]()

I cant see Christian being a major player in WWE ever again.
now otunga god i can do without him i dont like him but christian could be putting over younger guys
I love Christian. The best things he ever did was leave (on goods terms) and go to TNA when he did and once WWE dropped the ball with his push that was all but handed to them. (sounds familiar)
That being said, they have always taken him for granted and the only reason he even got a shot at the title is because of his friendship with Edge, Edge leaving and that they couldn't ignore the huge fan appeal anymore which is why despite granting him a title shot, they turned him heel. Not that they had much choice with him facing Orton but still....
His current role is putting younger talent over, which he does amazingly and I believe that if he were truly unhappy he would retire or leave.

Sucks that Christian has been gone for a while, but it is good they are giving him time off if he wants it. Hopefully, when he comes back he is put in a good feud.
Would I like to see him in the main event again, yes. However, I know that won't happen, so I just want to see him in a good feud.
surrender
Big fan of Christian. Recently re-watched his matches with Randy Orton for the WHC and they were phenomenal. Shame he seems to be disappearing from WWE TV right now because I feel he could be quite successful as a heel on Smackdown! if they booked it right.
he could but because they made a deal with tna he is gone
It'd be cool to see Christian back in TNA at some point soon. I always thought he fit in far better in TNA than he ever did in WWE.
"I've seen a million people die, it's up to us to stop the war."
I don't think he is being punished. They just don't want a guy with a push behind him to show up on what is technically a competitor's program.
He is in his late thirtys, R truth got a push in the mainevent, I dont see why christian cant have another run. He has got all the skills to have another stint as World champion, this time he should have a prober run. Not a fucking one week run. The WHC title is considered a uppermidcard title these days anyway.
It would be fun to see Christian get another strong push, but I think he might just be stuck at ic/us level.
