    credit heartland connection

Two men were arrested this week for stealing the TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt and a replica at the TNA live event in Ottumwa, IA on August 18th. The Ottumwa Police Department received a report on August 20th that the belt, which was valued at $6,000 along with the replica valued at $400, was stolen during the event at the Bridgeview Center. Both the title belt and the replica have since been recovered.

39-year-old Forrest Courtney Jamison of Ottumwa was arrested today and was released from the Wapello County Jail after posting $3000 bond. He was charged with accessory after the fact, which is an aggravated misdemeanor

This time Joel Ryan has gone too far in his pursuit of a job in TNA! The King of Sleaze indeed...

Anyways, I think this is just more proof as to why Aries shouldn't be the TNA Title... He totally fluked himself on this one...

Seeing fans hold it ransom would probably the greatest of anything ever. Especially if it was Reymon14.

Giving your son the middle name Courtney is just asking for him to become a trouble maker.

Ringbells get stolen all the time even in the E. Don't blame TNA for hoodlums.

Who the fuck would want to steal a ring bell? I doubt that's a high priority for security... Unless ring bells go for a lot in the streets...

Nope, they were stolen as they were unloaded from the production truck. The stage hand turned around for a minute and they struck

From multiple sources around the net and tmz
According to a person close to the chief of the Ottumwa Police Department, multiple claims made to both the department and TMZ.com were not true.

TNA Wrestling officials falsely said the belt was valued at $6,000.00. The department later received proof of purchase from Wildcat Belts, which showed that its stated value was exaggerated. According to WildCatBelts.com, a real copy of the belt is valued at $2,750.00. TMZ.com also reported that the belts were returned to the wrestling organization. Ottumwa Police Department are actually maintaining possession of the belts as evidence pending trial. Also, the belts weren’t stolen from the equipment truck when a stagehand turned away momentarily as reported. The police source says TNA didn’t truthfully disclose how the property was stolen to TMZ.com as to not appear foolish in the story.
Morons. And that prop Aries walks around with isn't even worth 3 stacks?
