Executive Vice President of GET OFF MY TV!!!???

But seriously, I like Big Johnny. I miss him. He's not that bad.

I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him Triple H's kayfabe position of COO.

John Laurinaitis is so boring. The real reason this upsets me is because the WWE keeps introducing these new character positions for TV. First it was the commissioner, GM, COO, Talent relations, and now Executive Vice President. How about they develop some wrestlers? This is wrestling isnt it?

Fuck Yes, knew he wasn't going too far considering he was booked for the Australian tour the whole time. Heel of the year.

Glad to see WWE investing in such young energetic talent.

It would be such a long introduction every time he would come out.

Only if they don't change the channel before someone does. Or, actually, while it's happening.

If they do what I posted yesterday about teaming him with The All American American Jack Swagger, then that might very well be the most interesting character(s) behind Michael Mizanin in the WWE today. Its a match made in heaven and much needed for both. Unlike Cole, Johnny Ace won't have to dominate the grouping between the two.

Hopeful Swagger/Ace in the Hole lead to a WHW title reign for Swags down the road. Maybe a great showing to boot at Royal Rumble, possible final 4 in the Rumble.

    Are you serious?

Did you forget about how he dominated four hours of television a week earlier this year?

You don't think he would dominate a pairing with Jack fucking Swagger?

Jack Swagger could rip off Brock Lesnar's ankle and I still wouldn't take him seriously.

Teaming him with Johnny Ace would put him in about the same midcard purgatory that Dolph Ziggler's been in for the past couple years. The difference is that Ziggler has a bunch of potential to break free and Swagger has none.

Ace in the Hole won't have nearly as much power and would be strictly a manager so no....he will be what Vickie is for Dolph right now. Ace will get the heat for Swag to build on and Swagger will take advantage and become a top 5 heel in the company. When Cole was with Swags, Swagger had to sacrifice time to be Cole's manager and trainer while Cole garnered the attention....different story with what should happen with Swagger and Ace.

Swagger if they don't make him a goofball can show charisma....just he's being so held down and limited by having this non-serious stooge gimmick. If it were my call, I'd turn Swags face and have a similar angle that Stacy/Test had where someone like Summer Rae can be his girlfriend/manager and turn Swagger into a humbled, happy asskicker to break this losing streak....but since they're sticking him as a heel, I turn Swagger the way he was back on ECW as a cocky, arrogant, game wrestler who backs up his bravado/swagger with his wrestling and that was the future of the WWE at one point.

Now that I think about it, having Johnny Ace as Swagger's manager does make some sense. Swagger's biggest problem is that he has the "bitch voice" that guys like Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have. Lesnar gets around it by being a legit beast and having an amazing talker in Heyman do most of the work for him. Lashley never overcame it, he was always just the big dude that sounded like a bitch. Make Swagger silent and have Johnny Ace hype him up and it'll spice up the midcard. Swagger will never evolve beyond it but so what? Not everyone has to.

If Johnny Ace comes back as an executive though I'm not interested.

I prefer to have Swagger show some cockiness like he always does but I do agree that Ace should take the majority of the promo time.....they however need to make Ace a serious heel and not a botchfest guy which is where the only problem may lie. No matter how serious Ace may try to be, the WWE fans will always view him as a joke heel who always gets shitted on.

Honestly besides his great ECW run, the next best thing he was apart of was the Swagger Soaring Eagle which is criminally underrated....its why I think he'd work as a face but they don't want to do that.

Johnny Ace was at his best when he was the botchfest bumbling idiot , the last thing they should do is lay on the serious too much on his character , especially considering Jack Swagger already brings serious to a whole 'nother level of boring by himself. I cant stand Swagger , but if he were ever paired with Johnny I would at least have a reason to give him a shot and not just fast forward every time I heard "Check One Two!".
