This doesn't surprise me.
So,
Rock/Cena 2
Undertaker/Lesnar
Possibly Punk/HHH 2?

Yeah I always had a feeling from the moment Rock said he was going after the title it was going to be so he could drop it to Cena at WM. I also thought they'd put the belt on Bryan for Rock to take it off of him instead of taking it off of Punk but now I think Punk will drop to Rock. Just speculative fun on my part
If Punk holds the title until Rumble then, that would be worth it all.
However, unless the dynamic changes (like a heel Cena), Cena/Rock headlining 'Mania again doesn't interest me all that much, to be honest.
not suprised and makes the best business sense.
1-rock wins the 1st match with cena at wm28. establishing himself has one of the greatest ever and restablishing he can still hang
2-gets his "thank you" title run starting jan leading to wm29
3-passes the torch and belt to cena at wm29
4-retirement/HoF at wm30
but man oh man i aint looking forward to having to see #3 go down.![]()

So we finally found the report that is the biggest speculation based on possible outcomes ever.

As always everything is speculation but I do see Rock laying down for Cena at some point and throwing the title into the equation makes more sense to me at least especially at WM
Who really wants to see this? Seriously.
But I'm all for another Rock title run.
Credit to Fresh Prince for the awesome banner
yeah. kayfabe rock gets to say he won the 1st match but cena gets to say he won the match that was for the title.
so both win in their own way.

Which may be the reason for hyping up Punk's longevity as champion. If he loses at the Rumble he would have the longest reign since Hogan lost to Andre The Giant on NBC. It helps all parties involved including the title.
However, I'll believe when I see it. The original idea of Cena holding the title all the way to Mania this year sounded intriguing to and that couldn't be pulled off.
Who is the boss? Who made wrestling? Who is sports entertainment?
WRESTLEMANIA 4 LIFE~~
Well I had a feeling that this was what was going to happen after John Cena lost clean to him at Wrestlemania 28,their was no chance in hell he wasn't going to get a rematch at some point against The Rock and get his win back.
However their hole feud and match over the last year or so,even been a dream match really didn't due anything for me.As others have stated I would much rather see both men due something else at Wrestlemania then a one on one rematch. As of today my ideal match would be a triple threat of Rock/Cena/Punk for the WWE Title. This would keep CM Punk in the main event scene and he would also get his mania main event, which he has errand and would add a lot to the stale and pretty boring Rock/Cena program.Plus this way it would keep the hole "Once In A Lifetime" intact and would be a round about way for The Rock not to lay down for Cena, instead having Punk lay down for him while Cena gets his huge win a WWE Title.
But if the WWE is really dead set on Rock/Cena II for the WWE Title I wonder were this leaves CM Punk ? I know most would say a match against Stone Cold Steve Austin, but I still highly doubt that he will ever wrestle again due to his age, heath and being away from the ring for a decade. The only other option I think at this point would be a match against Triple H.Their mini feud last year was cut short and with CM Punk now being heel his feud with Triple H would work much better as the company man .vs rebel angle.
Anyway you slice it CM Punk has to be in one of the top three matches, sense now he's the #1 heel in the company and also 2nd in terms of star power and drawing ability behind John Cena.
Ugh.
Please say it's not so. My problem isn't so much with Rocky winning the strap again (which, I must admit, I don't care for that either) but the fact that they dubbed last year's match as "Once in a Lifetime." That goes all down the drain now if they're having a rematch. Why build it up as Once in a Lifetime when you're going to give Rock the rub only to have him facing off and presumably losing one year later to the very same guy? I swear, the WWE and booking are an odd couple, comparable to celery and peanut butter. It's usually pleasant, but makes no sense whatsoever.
And with Punk now a heel, Cena turning before, during or after this match is nearly an impossible outcome. Color me largely uninterested...

REDS FACT OF THE WEEK:
On June 12th, 2013, the Cincinnati Reds set a new record of 12 consecutive wins against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. CM Punk was not amused.
I would prefer Rock/Punk at Wrestlemania for the title instead of the Rumble.
So is Rock/Lesnar off the cards now? I remember reading the rumors for that right after Maina 28.

Give me a break with the "But it was supposed to be Once in a Lifetime!" stuff. That was nothing more than a tagline to sell the event, not their fault everyone bought into it.
I don't really care about Cena getting the win back anymore, and like Falcone said elsewhere, if this Punk heel turn was just to get Cena a win over Rock, fuck that.
All we have is right now....
Go hard or go home.
Spoiler
This isn't going to happen. Cena/Rock will happen, but not this way.
Excuse me, but if you're selling something, the overall intent is for someone to eventually buy into it. Otherwise, what would the point of selling be? If you plan on not having the match a second time, saving yourself from the condescension of calling it 'Once in a Lifetime' seems like a good move in my eyes. There are a million better taglines that could have been used than that one, and now, it makes this match (and the first one before it) seem even less important. Hence another reason why this should not be happening.

Well yeah, that was their intention, but you didn't have to buy into the tagline as if it was fact.
I mean, most people realized there was a high chance of a rematch long before the first match happened.

Spoiler
We all knew it was going to happen since Mania 28. I'm not that big on Rock's return, I think he's good. If he get's the title off Punk at Royal Rumble than I hope he's on TV every week and I hope the fued with Cena is better than last.
I wish Rock would do someone old school like Big Show or Kane or even Undertaker
I think Cena will cost Rock the WWE title.
This was my prediction in the RAW party thread, however it was a pretty easy prediction to make. Cena not only beats Rock, but beats him for the title....Rock and Cena shake hands at the end.
Punk is going to get Austin - if not then HHH or a Bryan as a face
Taker gets Lesnar
And who cares about the rest of the card![]()
A bit of an obvious card, however on paper it seems like it would be a pretty entertaining show.
I think they might change the plan and do Rock Brock and Taker Cena. I just don't believe they don't do Brock vs Rock before Lesnar leaves unless they get another year out of him.
Fuck this.
I want:
WWE Title: Rock vs. Bryan
Cena vs. Taker
Punk vs. Brock
