The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Wes Brisco and Luke Gallows are currently working under the masks as the “Aces and Eights” attackers who took out Hulk Hogan and Sting.

Wes is the grandson of Gerald Brisco. I'm pretty sure that he used to be in FCW. I remember seeing his shitty thigh tattoos.

Can't find the article, but I remember reading a tweet from PWInsider saying that most of the guys are just fill ins, and aren't apart of Aces and Eights.

So, it's not a stretch to believe Nick Dinsmore, Chris Masters and Harry Smith could be under some of the masks.

I still think Jarrett will be behind this to get back which I feel would be great...I wouldnt mind Smith either...not so sure about Masters but maybe he is better than he was...Dinsmore is actually a talented technical wrestler and I think he was misused as the Eugene character (that he came up with to get a shot in WWE, its just sad that that is what he needed to get a shot)

its kinda surprising that no one has connected eric bishoff to the this group yet...Im hoping that its not Bischoff and Jarrett behind this but imo it makes more sense for those two to be the money behind the attacks.

and I get the name aces and eights and where it comes from but they could have picked a better name for the crew or at least one easier for Mike Tenay to be able to pronounce

Thursday on Impact Wrestling, a mysterious group of six masked men known as "The Aces and Eights" intervened on three occasions—at least four are former WWE wrestlers.

ROne of the attackers was former WWE Superstar Mike Knox, who participated in a dark match for the promotion in May. He was joined by three other former WWE talents—former developmental wrestler Wes Brisco, the wrestler formerly known as Luke Gallows, and D'Lo Brown, who works as a road agent for the organization. Organization officials are rotating wrestlers who won't be part of the eventual reveal into the attacks to make it harder to guess who is involved.

Gallows has participated in all of the group's attacks while Brisco debuted last week. Brown is not expected to be part of the group's final roster.

Meanwhile, sources close to Ohio Valley Wrestling talent Cliff Compton, who appeared as Domino for WWE in 2007 and 2008, say he has not participated in the angle after competing in a dark match for the promotion in late May. Former WWE Superstar Chris Masters, who has been campaigning via Twitter to join the organization after working a dark match last month, has also not participated in the angle.

I had suspected they might be doing that when I didn't recognize most of the masked men. But I can't help but feel like they want us to guess, then it's cheating if they really are using stand-ins.

I agree with the poster that said that one of the members of aces and eights had beady eyes that resembled those of Scott Steiner. I just have a hard time believing that he is a member with all that has gone down not only on twitter but supposedly in the courts with Steiner and TNA. TNA supposedly filed a legit injunction in court to stop Steiner from tweeting. I don't know about the courts in Nashville, but in my area a judge would not appreciate the use of a court's time and resources for a wrestling angle. Unless, There was some kind of settlement, this is the best worked shoot since the Montreal screw job.

Well they showed and mentioned Wes Briscoe on the last Impact so he is definitely one of the group....On one hand I liked that they didn't have Aces & 8 run in on the final match but at the same time you gotta keep the momentum of the storyline going...If they don't have the group attack again this week they are crazy....Maybe if they attack this week whoever they jump should pull one of the masks off and reveal at least one of guys in the group, I'd actually use Briscoe since he was already in the audience last week.
