    Question tna rewind cancel

    according to wrestlinginc.com

Spike TV has canceled Impact Wrestling recap program TNA Rewind, F4WOnline.com confirmed Wednesday.
Last Thursday's premiere episode, the first hour of what was tapped to be a weekly three-hour block of TNA Wrestling programming, drew an anemic 0.2 cable rating. This rating is approximately one-third of what the network typically garners in the 7:00 p.m. Thursday time slot.

The program will continue to air online via ImpactWrestling.com.

You mean, they didn't want to keep a show that the company didn't seem to grasp what the concept was? Shocking.

The concept was stupid, the regular Impact watchers most likely saw the previous week's show, so why put a 1-hour recap the following week? The people who missed the show and actually care just check it out on YouTube.

    Bring back TNA Reaction!!

I think there's a potential audience for three hours of Impact and it's almost a creative necessity at this point. But it would have to be three hours of original content.

I think a one-hour weekend show for X-Division and Knockouts would be a good start. Make it Saturday night with a re-air Sunday morning around 11ET, that way it's before football in the fall. Could be a nice place for it.

Disagree. TNA doesn't need a show for second-tier talent when they don't even have enough time on their A-show to service all of their top-tier stars every week. Impact needs three hours. It has for a long time now. Creatively, this is more important than going on the road or going live.

Take the Knockouts and X-division away to a separate show and you have extra time for your "main stars", duh.

If we're going to make the X-Division champion a potential world title contender every year, then his division isn't getting shipped off to a second-tier show. Three hours can keep him on the A-show and accommodate all the big names. It's a win-win.
