AJ for GM

Ok so I'm a noob and this is my first post, but I think AJ would be an interesting choice for GM, it would give her tv time which she deserves when the Punk/Bryan angle runs its course.

I think it would be great her messing with people just coz she enjoys it.

Nah, not a good idea. AJ's going to be much better as a superstar's girlfriend (whoever that may be - a fully fledged heel turn with Daniel Bryan is a result I think most people have been expecting for a while now) once her ambigious character is resolved. If a Diva is to become a GM, and I think it would be a nice change of pace, then Eve would be a better choice.

You make a good point about her character being fantastic, but at the same time I felt a little bit let down that again they decided not to have a significant outcome on the PPV. It's starting to feel to me like they are enjoying the position they are in with the storyline at the moment too much, and have abandoned the outcomes which may have originally been there. We've seen in the recent past WWE's inability to bring big storylines that start off hot to a satisfactory conclusion, and I'm a bit worried that the same might happen with AJ's character.

With Eve, I don't think she's anywhere close to the performer that AJ is, but her role with Laurinaitis means that she would fit much better in the GM position. AJ would be making a big jump both character and motivation wise, and I think being an authority figure would be a massive step backwards from her remarkable position and performance at present.

I think your right I think the wwe has gone oh shit what do we do now, as AJ is so popular right now if they finally get her to permernently align with one or the other she then just becomes a one dimensional valet/manager/girlfriend/wife, which in my opinion neither Bryan or Punk need as they are both brilliant on the mike and have enough charisma on thier own.


If they could find some way to "accidentally" make AJ gm by her making the pin in some much or signing the wrong contract etc etc then she could keep them crazed persona and it would make life interesting as no one would really know where they stand and wwe could pull some strange matches/feuds and even tag teams out of it.

Plus I think eve would just be the female version of big johny and I think we have been done to death of the heel or face gm and something more abstract would be good. As lest face who the hell else is there to be gm anyway?

I don't want to see AJ as the GM. It wouldn't fit her current character and they've done a great job building her up to where she is. Personally, I'm glad there wasn't significant outcom on the PPV. I want this ambiguous AJ storyline to keep going. I certainly want it to be resolved eventually, but why not let it ride for a while?

Out of the current women on the roster, Eve would probably make the most sense to have as GM but I'm not a big fan of that idea. The only way I see Eve in the GM role would be for her to go ultra-bitch like Steph and Vickie did when they were in control. I just don't know if Eve can pull that off.

Ott would be nice for an out of the box appoint for gm, I just got this horrible feeling were going to go for some returning "superstar" who will end up pissing some people off and then guess what there will be "one more match"

If AJ doesn't be gm which lets is pretty like she won't what will they do with her, as I said before just being someone's valet seems a hell of a drop down for her.

Hell No. I like her character in the love tri-angle. I'm disappointed they didn't advance the story though at the MITB PPV, but I'm glad they didn't end it. I just can't picture her character as a GM at all. I think it will be a disaster. Ow I'm new too, welcome buddy.

No don't get me wrong i love the love triangle thing to, although I don't think cm punk looks at all that comfortable in the whole thing as Bryan does I don't know whether that is the point or not but punk looks a little wooden with AJ.

I think you answered your own question WRESTLE. AJ can wrestle. I've been following her progress since NXT and she impressed me even then. I can see her as a Diva champ sometime soon. Maybe a feud between her and Eve for the title. Layla has improved a lot in the ring, but I don't think she can tell a story.

One could have easily made this same statement about Mickie James when she first came to the E. What does she do when her crazy lesbian, Trish Stratus stalker character runs it's course? The answer back then is the same as it is now. Like Westy said: She wrestles. This storyline is a great thing for AJ. It's making her one of the top stars in the E. When this is over I really expect her to have a run with the butterfly belt.

But the only problem is that no one cares about the women division so it would be a waste. I think eve was perfect as the executive assistant it fitted her perfectly but I really do think AJ is just to good to just be a women's champion. She really needs an identity and the bi polar gm would fit her perfectly. The beauty of having a woman as gm is they can't wrestle unlike having a retires wrestler do itnasnthey will always fight one more match and around in circles we go.

Well either way, I think AJ will keep her bipolar personality even after her storyline with Punk and Bryan comes to an end. She'll still skip to the ring and have mood swings etc. The character is too good to just be dropped. It'll probably get toned down a bit though.

I'd like to see her get a run with the Diva's championship, rather than GM. Nothing against AJ but i'm all for a straight man as GM, rather than heel GM's or overly gimmicky personas. AJ doesn't act like a bi-polar person, but thats a discussion for another day.

I am bi-polar and dig her character. Should is a great pick for GM. She is red hot right now, but unless WWE wants to destroy the women's divisions there is no place for her, so why not make her GM?

Really looking forward to her stepping up and seeing where she takes it tho and how crazy wwe want to make her. Some good viewing ahead. Not watched the show yet just read the write up but looks like the show was good and left us with plenty going forward.

this will be interesting to see where they go with her. It is nice to see more female authority figures involved with the guys business. The next few weeks as she "makes" matches heading into Summerslam like who will face Punk for the WWE title at that event? What will Cena's match be at the event? Daniel bryan vs charlie sheen really?
