Thumbs up TNA has a better product than the WWE right now

I've been a TNA hater for some years now but I've finally switched sides it seems. Impact has been much better than what RAW or Smackdown has been producing lately. Not to mention that the pay-per-views have been tremendous as well. Quality match-ups on Impact have really been the difference. Not to mention an epic rivalry between Bobby Roode and Austin Aries that has me wanting to finally order a pay-per view for once. The way Roode and Aries have been booked has been tremendous. TNA still has some issues, however, like the AJ/Dixie storyline, which some people might enjoy actually. But overall, I find myself waiting to catch Impact more than RAW. In fact, I've watched all of the past couple of Impacts in their entirety and skip most of RAW. But this could be just me. Anyone else agree?

I'm no TNA hater, but while I've started watching more Impact episodes, I have actually been enjoying the WWE product more lately. I'm finding that WWE is not suffering from the extent of overexposure of superstars that they want us to get behind as much recently. But maybe that's just me.

I have definitely enjoyed Austin Ares and the X division, and am appreciating seeing less of older guys in TNA. I'm finding Hogan's presence bearable at the moment and am very happy not to see Bischoff, Flair or Nash on Impact. I was a big time mark for Abyss years ago and I'm enjoying the Joseph Parks angle.

So I can't say that I think TNA has a better product, but I very much appreciate that it is a different product, and am enjoying watching it.

i've always enjoyed TNA more, espcially now. the only thing in WWE that interest me is the AJ/Kane/DB/Punk angle. I couldnt care less about anything else in WWE and I dont even bother watching SD anymore. I only watch Raw replays now to see what happened with AJ but with TNA i'm sure to make it home every week just to see what happens next...what could TNA possibly do next...

    i love it

No way Pyro. I understand tna has some amazing talent, but their product is garbage. The only thing decent they put out is re packaged storyline ripoffs.
Hogan can't save tna, in fact he and his horse faced girl r gonna help end that show. Soon Vince will show up on spike and so goes tna the way of the old wcw (and everyone else who tried to compete with the wwe).

Jon---They have been calling for the eminent demise of TNA since day one, guess what not happening...TNA has been great lately...not sure what you are talking about with repackeged storyline ripoffs, but even WWE rehashes storyline...Also anyone who thinks Brooke Hogan actually has ANY power in the KO division is fooling themselves, she is a figurehead just like most other authority figured...Hogan has been good lately and the storylines they have have been pretty good (even the AJ/Dixie one isnt bad but the it was pulled off poorly)...seeing as you are new here, whicvh I just realized after typing this otherwise I wouldnt respon at all, I see you as being a WWE Mark and if it aint WWE it aint good or a troll.

I don't know, I tried watching last week's Impact but I found myself turning it off within 45 minutes. But I also fast forward through RAW and SmackDown occasionally. My problem with TNA is that last time I watched them regularly, Roode was nothing more than a tag team mid-carder. As a very casual TNA watcher, I find it hard to catch up and take him seriously as a top guy. I had a similar problem with Sheamus in WWE in 2009-2011, I'm only just now getting used to him.

Also I saw the recap at the start Impact of this AJ Style/Dixie Carter storyline, and quite honestly it was very off-putting.

They do have a good product.

And as always, they'll take that product, throw it in the crapper, and we'll be seeing AJ turn heel for the gazillionth time to feud with a suddenly face Daniels, James Storm will turn heel for shits and gigs, and Brooke Hogan & Garrett Bischoff will be the Knockouts Tag Team Champions

Well WWE (or at least Raw) is churning out its worst product in a long time these days. They clearly give no fucks, where at least TNA is trying.

WWE has been pretty shitty from an adult standpoint. I do realize the show is for 10 year olds though, so it would be kind of goofy for me to nitpick it apart.

TNA is better, but still not as good as the old ECW tapes.

TNA is nowhere close to as strong as it was in 2005, but it's definitely on the right path (Roode has been an incredible champion). The potential for another great rise to an outstanding promotion is definitely there.

Exactly what are you hung up on when it comes to Robert Roode? Is it that he was never a main eventer in another company? Is it because he was a tag team guy and WWE has ruined the perception of tag teams?

He's done it the way people always say they want to see guys do it.

I'm not going to get into one of my rants about people not willing to give TNA guys a credence, but...yeah, I want to know.

I'm no Roode fan by any means. Storm > Roode, imo but i will say Roode made me believe he could be a legit Main Eventer...even if i still hate his guts lol...i also hate his haircut but oh well. he has to look the part.

Most TNA haters will always hate TNA because its not WWE. I like all wrestling as long as there are wrestlers and a ring.

The only thing TNA has going good lately is Austin Aries. Other than that what do they have? Roode's character is boring as shit now. James storm who was building up as a legit contender just got beat by that loser Jeff Hardy. The womens division sucks now which was one of the only good things TNA had going for it. If they get some decent actual wrestling on their show instead of showing cringe worthy story lines TNA might be watchable again. They need to get rid of Hogan as well as he is really making the show suck ass.

If one loss means the James Storm Project is a failure, Storm must not have been very good to begin with.

Not that I expect you to understand how silly your position is.

I've watched and followed TNA since the first monthly ppv days (Nov 04) and I have to say the latest programs of iMPACT Wrestling and PPVs have been great. I'm loving the way things are going and part of it is the depth in star power for the roster, mainly due to the emergence to the main event of Bully Ray, James Storm and of course Bobby Roode, who has been the greatest champion in TNA as far as I'm concerned.

And I'm Coming Real Soon to a Fan Fiction Project, on your PC, Mac, or whatever, fuck you.

So anyone who doesn't like tna is a wwe mark? I'm just stating the obvious, tna's ratings are pretty awful, and their live events don't draw. I'm just wondering how long they can compete? Truth is, they'll never b able to compete, and the difference between tna and wcw, wcw had Ted Turner, tna has spike, but for how long?

I would say t his is the best that they have ever been. But that woulodn't do them any justice and would udermined the company.

TNA right now is legitimately a very good wrestling company and I can admit, I thought I would never see the day

Since when do awful ratings and low drawing live events determine if TNA has a better product than the WWE?

Why do they have to compete in that sense?

Then by your own admission the only problem is that you don't watch TNA enough. Keep watching. Not only is TNA a better product right now, but they are also the only promotion that has any type of a feeling of being HOT right now. TNA is definitely on the upswing and the more I watch the more I want.

That depends on how you look at it. Unlike WWE, TNA's attendance is going up. Plus in the UK TNA actually gets better ratings than WWE. So while WWE might have a half century head start, TNA is clearly moving in the right direction.
