Thread: NO WAY OUT PREDICTIONS~!

    Cool NO WAY OUT PREDICTIONS~!

Well, while the WWE roster has been ravaged by suspensions and injuries as of late, I think they've managed to put together an alright show considering what they have to work with. The main program sucks, but I'm looking forward to some of the other matches and the desperate hope that we'll finally get to see Johnny Ace fired.

So, I'll throw some predictions out there, and I encourage the rest of you to do the same.

    ----------

    Brodus Clay vs David Otunga

Kind of self explanatory, this is just to get the crowd hyped up. I fully expect it to do the job. Brodus wins.

    Winner: Brodus Clay

    ----------

Divas Champion Layla vs Beth Phoenix

Filler. Maybe my bathroom break, although I'm sure everyone else will have the same thought. Since this has gotten NO buildup whatsoever, we're not seeing a title change. Layla wins.

Winner, and STILL Divas Champion: Layla

    ----------

Intercontinental Champion Christian vs Cody Rhodes

Christian is a guy who knows how to get a crowd hyped up, and I'm excited to see him after he missed Survivor Series with an injury. This should be a nice undercard match with two great workers, and could be even more if given time (which I expect many of the matches to get, given how thin this card is). I can't see Christian losing it. It seems like soon might be the time for Rhodes to move into the main event scene, while Captain Charisma holds down the blue brand's upper midcard.

Winner, and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Christian

    ----------

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler

So happy they made the right choice with this one. I felt that Ziggler was easily the best option for this match, and thankfully, WWE agreed instead of putting someone like Tensai in there. Again, could be fantastic if given time, which I think it will be. Of course Sheamus is winning, he was going to win against Del Rio anyway. All I'm looking for here is a great match.

Winner, and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Sheamus

    ----------

    Triple H

H talking for 20 minutes seems like their desperate way of filling time on a pay-per-view with only five matches (and perhaps a Ryback squash thrown in). I would expect that we'll at least get a Paul Heyman appearance, and maybe Lesnar as well (I sure as hell hope so). Not really sure where this lawsuit angle is going, besides the obvious fact that they'll be having a match at SummerSlam. Hopefully, they manage to accomplish something here to further build towards that.

    ----------

    John Cena vs Big Show

This whole storyline is crap on a sandwich, but the stipulation (which is still intact according to WWE.com) gives me a slight glimmer of hope. I know Ace keeps escaping these firing angles, but I don't know how much longer they can keep it up, especially with the 1000th Raw having these interactive aspects. Not to mention how dominant Big Show has been, which anyone who has watched WWE for more than five minutes will know means he's probably going to lose. Cena wins, and finally rids us of this torturous John Laurinaitis stuff. If Johnny escapes again, then I'll just give up and accept the fact that he's going to be the general manager for the next twenty years. But here's to rooting for the end of People Power one more time.

    Winner: John Cena

    EDIT:

    Spoiler

    ----------

WWE Champion CM Punk vs Kane vs Daniel Bryan

Now this is a wonderful storyline. AJ's involvement in this is legitimately the most entertaining thing going on in this company right now. They've made it so that it's actually not so predictable what's going to happen, and I'm not quite sure about this one. But, I'm going to go with Daniel Bryan winning. Punk keeps proving everyone wrong whenever he's predicted to lose, but this AJ thing has been building pretty much the whole year and I don't see it ending with her and Punk together. I think she's going to help Bryan, either as a batshit thing she does herself or as a scheme that they had planned the entire time. Either way, I plan on chanting "YES!" all night long.

Winner, and NEW WWE Champion: Daniel Bryan

Now, the rest of you, go! And don't steal my formatting again.

(Just kidding, go ahead and steal my formatting. It makes me feel cool.)

Here is who I think will win:

    Otunga/Clay: Brodus Clay

I don't see them giving Brodus his 1st loss to Otunga and they probably want to make fans happy at the start, so Brodus will win .

    Layla/Beth: Layla

They won't end Layla's reign this quick, so I see her winning and moving on to another feud .

    Christian/Rhodes: Christian

This could go either way, but I see Christian winning and keeping his title after a long, great match .

Hopefully, Cody will move up to the main event after this match .

Still, I will be rooting for Cody and I hope he wins back his title .

    Sheamus/Ziggler: Ziggler

I will keep this simple, there is no way Ziggler is winning the WHC .

    Punk/Kane/Bryan: Punk

Punk will pin Kane to keep his title .

AJ will either help Punk win, or try and help Bryan, but fail .

All I know is that whatever happens, it will lead to Punk/Bryan again at MITB .

    Cena/Show: Show

Even after reading the SD Spoilers, I still see Show coming out on top .

Sadly, I just don't see them getting rid of Big Johnny yet .

I agree completely with your predictions Champ, so I won't bother writing the same.

They'll probably add a couple of more matches on the show, maybe Ryback and Sin Cara squashes. Hope we see a tag team match, maybe PTP vs. Santino/Ryder.

Brodus vs Otunga will be an easy win for Brodus, if Otunga wins i'll go vegetarian for a week.

Layla vs Beth is pretty much like Champ said, if there was going to be a title change or any sort of drama there'd have been a bit of build-up, Layla wins.

Christians gonna hold on to the IC belt here but Cody is going to be made to look like 5 million bucks. I think it's finally time to push Cody towards the main event.

This is Zigglers big shot, he's not going to win the title but this is his big match so i'm expecting him to go all out to impress everyone that needs to be impressed.

HHH promo, mentions of Heyman/Lesnar and the challenge issued for Summerslam.

Praying to vishnu, buddha, god and every deity I can think of that Cena wins here, the sooner Johnny is off my screen, the better.

I really don't know where the WWE title story is going, all I know is that I love it. SD spoilers which I read just have me more confused. I'll say Punk but wouldn't be surprised if Bryan walks out as champion on Sunday.

Here is another prediction I have:

I think Christian/Rhodes will steal the show and be the match of the night .

Not because every other match underperforms, but because it is a great match .

    Brodus Clay vs David Otunga

    Winner: Brodus Clay

    ----------

Divas Champion Layla vs Beth Phoenix

Beth losing had hardly any buildup and WWE could care less about story with the Divas. I wouldn't be shocked to see a Beth win at all especially after her clean pin in the mixed tag match monday

Winner, and NEW Divas Champion: Beth

    ----------

Intercontinental Champion Christian vs Cody Rhodes

Taking the belt and putting it on Cody a third time in this short time makes no sense. I see Christian retaining and eventually pushing Cody to Upper card status. I think Christian was given the title as a opportunity for Cody to work a regiment with a veteran before his big push for some more experience

Winner, and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Christian

    ----------

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler

Swagger interferes setting up a Ziggler/Swagger campaign. Hopefully Ziggs stays heel but crowd may turn him in a Swagger feud

Winner, and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Sheamus

    ----------

    Triple H

    Don't Care

    ----------

    John Cena vs Big Show

Lose to Rock, Beat Brock, lose to Laurinaitis, beat Show??? Their Cena storylines make no fucking sense and idc what the Cena marks say here he shouldn't be main eventing. The WWE champion should

    Winner: John Cena

    ----------

WWE Champion CM Punk vs Kane vs Daniel Bryan

As much as I want Bryan to win I don't have the faith. The only part of me that thinks Bryan might win is WWE's lack of a importance they put on titles these days. If they actually cared about the title picture and had it main event instead of shitty Cena storylines not a chance in hell Bryan would win. This isn't a knock on Bryan but we all know how Vince looks down on the smaller guys. I will maintain my negative nelly attitude and say Punk retains. I like Punk but I want Bryan to win

Winner, and STILL WWE Champion: Punk

Show will beat Cena and no titles will change hands. Everyone will complain that the WWE sucks while watching Raw on Monday.

Also Ziggler will sell the Brogue Kick in a hilarious way.

Well, yeah, and Del Rio will restart his feud with Sheamus after he comes back .

Ziggler fans should just be happy that he is in a singles match for the WHC on a PPV .

I agree with everythink Champ says apart from the two main events.

As SM mentioned I don't see them getting rid of Ace just yet but I could be wrong. Hmm well maybe ill just go with Cena but its up in the air.

WWE Title match, my heart says Kane but my brain says Bryan. Everyone waiting for AJ to turn on punk and if she doesn't I think it will be abit of a let down. She will most likley accidently screw over Punk or just go with Bryan. I'm just wondering thou if they will just put the strap on Kane with AJ. WE all know Kane gets pushed when their a women involved. But only time will tell.

    Thanks to Fresh Prince

Daniel Bryan - I think the reason Kane was thrown into this match was to allow Bryan to win the belt without making Punk look bad. I see him winning without the help of AJ...AJ will help Bryan retain in the rematch at MITB there by turning her heel and setting up Punk/Bryan III at Summerslam.

Well, while the WWE roster has been ravaged by suspensions and injuries as of late, I think they've managed to put together an alright show considering what they have to work with. The main program is awesome, and I'm really looking forward to the other matches and the dreadful possibility that we'll finally have to see Johnny Ace fired.

So, I'll throw some predictions out there, and I encourage the rest of you to heed them as they are very wise and mighty.

    ----------

    Brodus Clay vs David Otunga

Kind of self explanatory, this is just to get the crowd hyped up. I fully expect it to do the job, but I will be rather bored throughout it. Brodus wins. This is totally not redundant to say despite me now saying it again.

    Winner: Brodus Clay

    ----------

Divas Champion Layla vs Beth Phoenix

Filler. I'll probably skip it unless I feel like staring at Layla, although I'm sure everyone else will have the same thought. Since this has gotten NO buildup whatsoever, we're not seeing a title change. Layla wins. Hmm, it seems I'm going to say the result twice every time.

Winner, and STILL Divas Champion: Layla

    ----------

Intercontinental Champion Christian vs Cody Rhodes

Christian is a guy who knows how to get a crowd hyped up (through his amazing use of clapping), and I'm excited to see him after he missed Survivor Series with an injury. This should be a nice undercard match with two great workers, and could be even more if given time (which I expect many of the matches to get, given how thin this card is). I can't see Christian losing it. It seems like soon might be the time for Christian to rise up and stay in the main event scene, while Rhodes holds down the blue brand's upper midcard.

Winner, and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Christian

    ----------

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler

So happy they made the right choice with this one. I felt that Ziggler was easily the best last ditch throw-in for this match, and thankfully, WWE agreed instead of putting someone like Khali in there. Again, could be fantastic if given time, which I think it will be. Of course Sheamus is winning, he was going to win against Del Rio anyway. All I'm looking for here is a great match. My comma use is atrocious.

Winner, and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Sheamus

    ----------

    Triple H

H talking for 20 minutes seems like their desperate way of filling time on a pay-per-view with only five matches (and unfortunately perhaps a Ryback squash thrown in). I would expect that we'll at least get a Paul Heyman appearance, and maybe Lesnar as well (I sure as hell hope so). Not really sure where this lawsuit angle is going, besides the obvious fact that they'll be having a match at SummerSlam. Not to mention how dominant Big Show has been, which anyone who has watched WWE for more than five minutes will know means he's probably going to lose. Cena wins, and finally strips us of this amazing John Laurinaitis stuff. If Johnny escapes again, then I'll just celebrate and accept the fact that he's going to be the general manager for the next twenty years. Here's to rooting for the dominance of People Power one more time.

    Winner: John Cena

I think she's going to distract Kane so that Punk can get the win. Either way, I plan on chanting "YES!" all night long.

Winner, and OLD WWE Champion: CM Punk

Now, I did just go! And I did steal your formatting...for the first time.

(Just kidding, this formatting is totally original and I thought it up myself. I am cool.)

I hope I made you feel cool too, Champ. I'm actually impressed with how much I agreed with you.

I see that everyone is picking Layla. From what I saw I thought she looked hurt in her last match, maybe that was a reason for her non appearances. I also read a rumor that the WWE thought they rushed her back. I wouldnt be surprised if she lost the belt to go rehab more.

I read that Big Johnny is going to get fired from his current role, but maintain on television in another role.

    Don't care.

    Layla/Beth:
    Don't care.

    Christian/Rhodes.
    Rhodes wins clean.

    Sheamus/Ziggler.
    Sheamus sadly.

    Punk/Kane/Bryan:
Given Bryan's finish is a submission, Punk. AJ distracts Kane, allowing Punk a cheap win.

    Cena/Show:
    Show DESTROYS Cena.

Vince fires Ace, HHH interrupts and saves him to get a match.

I would hate it if Undertaker interrupted HHH at NWO .

You're right I guess it was but I feel they need to say something about a wm29 match because it's happening in same state in 9 months. Btw talking about AJ possibly ending up with Kane, imagine that happened and come 1000th raw we get Kane/AJ vs cm punk/ lita (wish it were Edge/lita but you know how edge can't go anymore).
