    Default Booker T's Fave Five

I don't care what anyone says, I still love Booker on commentary. Sure he repeats himself a lot, and says some completely nonsensical things at times, but he's entertaining and funny without distracting too much from the action. I'm surprised WWE didn't run with this on their Youtube channel, but it's probably better off this way.

"Ya can't be on the fave five if ya got a bus!"

I've started to come around on his commentary also. I like the way he says, "X Wrestler is getting on that BOI!".

Booker's hit or miss with me sometimes he'll say something cool or smart and other times he comes off reallly stupid and senseless.

Booker's commentary is hilarious. I think he has one of the best collections of catchphrases in wrestling history.

What announcer doesn't come off as a goof a few times a show?

I remember for about a year, JR would get The name of Jeff's Whisper in the Wind, Twist of Fate, and Poetry In Motion mixed up every fucking show on Raw in like 2002. Sure, Jeff was pretty much a junkie headed for destruction at the time, but JR would fuck up those moves constantly and then get mad on his blog when fans called him out on it.

And not to mention King going from a great heel commentator to a creepy old pervert.

I'd rather have Striker over Booker but I know I am of the small minority.

Never cared for the Booker man post "HOGAN WE COMIN FOR YOU NIGG......"(Booker cursing to himself soon afterwords)

JR also got Matt and Jeff confused all the time and sometimes would even get Edge and Christian confused .

You haven't liked Booker since he said that in 1996? If so. I have something to tell you

Never really cared for him in late stages of WCW and for much of Invasion. He was great when with Goldust but I might have to credit Goldust for that.

I'm asking you you seen Booker T say that about Hogan in 1996? Which is when you started disliking him, yes?

I didn't see that when it actually happened but I did like Booker when he was in Harlem Heat. As a singles competitor though, no.

I liked The Booker Man early but didn't care for him in later stages of WCW and for much of his WWE tenure.

I didn't say you was mad...I didn't do that stupid shit when it was popular on Hip-hop Boards 7 years ago.

I'm just wondering how you didn't like Booker T post those comments about Hogan, seeing as they never aired and wasn't even released until like 8 years ago. But you liked him in Harlem Heat, and he was still with Harlem Heat a year after the Hogan comment. You said you didn't see the comments when they were made, so now I kind of understand where you're coming from.

during the 41 man battle royal on Smackdown Josh Matthews says one of my favorites lines that year

"... and every one of them is in Booker T's fav five."

    ---

also, I agree with Booker T's final two picks for his fav five. Ziggler and Rhodes are definitely getting ready to take the ball and run with it.

"let me tell you something this guy right here right now"

Where did the good old days go? I understand why Booker is there. To bring in the energy and excitement. He's ok.

but there's nothing like Lawler "LOOK AT THIS", and Jim Ross "he is the game but he is facing Batista who is an animal".
