Question major changes in wellness tests

    credit pwinsider

WWE officials have been discussing a major change that may be implemented soon for talents who fail Wellness Tests. In the future, the company may start announcing what caused the talents to test positive. The hope is that if they start to announce what substances the wrestlers tests positive for, it may discourage other talents from taking banned substances.

I'm all for this, great news if true. Hopefully in a few years the pro wrestling business will clean up a lot more in general, but I doubt it.

Good. Now it will eliminate the discussion of why someone was suspended, however, a new topic will be started about it.

Why did it take until Randy Orton being suspended for them to bring this idea up?

Seems like this is something they should've done a long time ago.

I still find it silly that they test for anything other then hard drugs like cocaine, E, and heroin.

Wait a minute. They test for pot, but not harmful drugs?

No I'm assuming he meant that he finds it silly that WWE doesn't only just test for hard drugs like those mentioned.

Ive always wondered if guys like Cena and Triple H were ever subjected to these tests. It wouldn't surprise me if Vince is looking for a way to get out of that 10 year deal with Orton. Im very surprised Vince would sign a guy such a long term contract anyways.. Especially since they have done anything memorable with Orton in AGES!!

Cena has shown pictures on Twitter of him posing while holding his samples after drug testing. So I'll assume he has been tested.

Triple H doesn't have to get tested anymore, his title is that of an executive and not a talent anymore. The same reason Vince doesn't have to be tested. Pretty smooth loophole
