Just saw this on TSN. When they said Neal only got 1 game I "WTF!?"'d loud enough to wake my daughter.

Neal is a repeat offender and had TWO cheap shots that game. It's like Shanahan is just spinning a wheel or something...

    ...speaking of: http://www.nhlwheelofjustice.com/

Anyone else see the interview with Crosby today when he said the fans should be proud of them? Were the concussions that bad? I want whatever drugs he's on.

I honestly can't believe how out of hand these playoffs have gotten. I'm ashamed.

A little bit of a get together at the end of the second period between the Blackhawks and Coyotes. Ended with both goaltenders exchanging words at the end of the period.

That is terrible reporting by TSN. Didn't update Hossa's condition, which is what we want to know.

Another two awful decisions. Both of those plays were absolutely dirty and non hockey plays, should never be in the game. Courturier never had the puck, absolutely no need for hitting him. The only positive out of the suspension is that the Penguins lose a huge asset to their offense for an elimination game. But, apparently Neal was also suspended for hitting Giroux. So, Neal gets one game for two illegal hits and he is a repeat offender? How the fuck does that make sense? It should be at least five games.

Asham with the cross check and punch while Schenn was on the ice should be at least a 10 game suspension.

What the heck is wrong with these guys? I'm all for fighting and intense play when it has a purpose but this shit is over shadowing great games.

Bad loss for Chicago. Gave up 2 leads and lost in OT.

Detroit is in major trouble down 3-1.

I still think New Jersey will win its series. Florida just isn't good enough, imo. If the teams advance that I think will advance, Rangers vs. Devils and Bruins vs. Flyers will both be unbelievable series. One completely offensive series and one completely defensive.

I can't recall a time when the first round of NHL playoffs lacked this much discipline from the players. How sad that it comes in the first season of the new sheriff, Brendan Shanahan. He has failed to give suspensions that would deter anybody. He goes easy on stars and vets and only drops the hammer (if you can even call it that) on rookies. He started off strong, but went MIA as the season progressed.

If Raffi Torres only gets a game or two after being a 4 time repeat offender, this league is a joke.

Torres should be gone until next season at the least. The guy is as dirty as they come.

Not happy about Detroit going down 3-1 on account of the hockey pool, but Nashville's success is nice to see (even if it is marred by Weber's shitty outburst in game 1). I don't really care who comes out of the west at this point.

I don't care who wins the Cup as long as it's not anyone from the Leafs' division.

Though I'm favoring Nashville in the West and NYR in the East.

Torres is suspended indefinitely with a hearing scheduled for Friday. Hopefully they get this one right. If Asham got 4 games, I don't see why Torres won't get the rest of the playoffs. I'm guessing they'll give him that, unless Phoenix gets eliminated right away, then they'll probably tack on games for next season to fit the punishment.

I'm so psyched for the Pens/Flyers tonight.

What a goal by Malkin! What a soft goal by Fleury man oh man. I hope Pittsburgh wins the next 3 games so I can watch game 7 of this series!

Can we make this series a best of 1,000,001? I never want this to end. SO much fun!

There's #5 for Pittsburgh and time for a goalie switch. The way this has gone, Pittsburgh win tonight could legitimately put Philly in some danger. That's how crazy this has been. I don't even feel a 3-0 series lead is safe.

8 for Pittsburgh and still 25ish minutes left to go. Philly might be in big trouble while being up 3-0 in the series

Malkin makes it 10 and that's an NHL all-time record for most goals in 4 games (45).

Turris just ripped it by Lundqvist for the OT winner. What a shot!

LMAO I cant believe I typed the Lakers. Whoops. I picked Florida because I hate NJ and I was pretty surprised with how well Florida played this year and like choosing the underdog. I consider teams like Florida, St. Louis, Phoenix and maybe even Nashville to be teams that most people didn't expect to see winning the cup so it would just make them winning it even better.

Fuck, Rangers had a good start with two powerplay goals, but blew the fucking lead. That was one hell of a shot by Turris to win the game. Through the legs of Stralman and top corner. The Rangers had chances, but never sustained offensive pressure. Although they had two goals on the powerplay, they allowed the tieing goal on the penalty kill. A great damn start to the game. One more goal would have made it almost impossible for the Sens or any other team to comeback against the Rangers and Lundqvist. It looks like this series is destined to a game seven.

Have to give to the Penguins tonight. An absolute ass kicking of the Flyers tonight as the Flyers once again played musical chairs with their goaltenders. It is more impressive without Neal and that it was in Philadelphia. But, do they have any goals in store for game five after reaching double digits in game four? I still do not think that the Penguins will come back and win the series, but I will easily take another matchup between these two teams.

Pens might win at home and force game 6, but I don't see it going further than that. Crazy game.

Not happy that Ottawa is playing this well. Not happy at all.

Alright Pens and Cancucks, let's see which one of you will make it interesting the longest.

Game 4 of Caps-Bruins is looking like Game 1 all over again. Bruins badly outplaying the Caps but Holtby's holding it together. Last two games the Caps looked much better.

Edit: And pretty much immediately after I posted this, the Caps turn things around.

Good job Preds. Fucking hate Detroit (Avalanche fan) so it's nice to see that terrible team out plus Shea Weber and Trotz deserve some playoff victories.
